invisible bead extensions (IBE) is a beaded weft method that uses handtied hair. unlike a lot of other beaded row methods, IBE is completely seamless from the top and bottom of the weft, so you will have no beads showing! these are very flexible and great even for finer hair as they have a more secure track with minimal tension on the hair. the extensions are custom colored and blend with your natural hair.

i use premium, hand tied hair and microwefts, which are available in various textures. we will choose which type of hair works best with your lifestyle and natural texture during your consultation.

your hair must be at least shoulder length, with your layers being at least down to your chin to ensure that they look natural! i can better help you with this by you filling out the application if you aren’t sure if you are a candidate!

YES! that is one of the many benefits to this method! no more worrying about your extensions showing! the placement of the wefts allows you to comfortably throw it up in a high pony or bun.

you will need to use a moisturizing shampoo & conditioner and then a hydrating mask every 2-3 washes. you will also need a good leave-in conditioner, and hydrating oil. i carry 2 different great lines in my studio that are perfect for extensions and i will provide you with a detailed product and maintenance guide at your install appointment with helpful tips on taking care of your new hair, along with a product goodie bag to get you started.

blonde hair will generally need to be replaced a little sooner than brunette, as it has been processed more. most clients can expect their hair to last 7-10 months for blondes and 9-12 months for brunettes. most clients can just swap out a couple new wefts at a time towards the end of its lifespan to keep it fresh and more cost effective. the longevity of the wefts will greatly depend on how well the hair was taken care of. it can last longer than these estimates if it is well maintained, or it may need to be replaced sooner if it wasn’t taken care of!
